50+ years of experience understanding narrow feet.
Tired of stuffing your shoes with foam cushions and heel pads, or shuffling your feet and curling your toes to keep from stepping out of them? Munro has the answer with styles that are made in Narrow (AA) and Super Slim (AAAA) widths.
Basically live in this shoe during the day and about to order the new velvet print so I can live in it at night. That will make 3 colors I own. Great for walking around town and so easy to slip on and off. Plus fashionable. Would love to see this in a Chinese red or cinnamon.
I love Munroe Shoes! Have many different pairs in my closet and some of those are from over 10 years ago-still in great condition! So Munroe Shoes are the best for my foot, in style and comfort. I was unsure about BILLEE at first when I tried them on, I am a 9 W and these slipped slightly on the heel but I wore them around the house (on carpet) for a day and they stopped slipping-not sure why?? and I love them. I have worn them at least 3 days during the work week.
These pumps are a delight--they fit my feet without slipping (I have a normal-sized forefoot with a narrow heel, and pumps usually just fall off.) These pumps are so cute on, and so comfortable to walk in! They remind me of the fresh appeal of a Kate Spade accessory. They are cute but also very classy, with the lizard bow at the front. The suede pair say they are "water resistant" which is a bonus. Very excited to wear these!
I love the shoes. I like Munro shoes, because they're very comfortable and very well made. I have 2 pair of Munro shoes that I have worn every day to work for
two years. They are excellent quality shoes.
Shoes in navy blue are a challenge to find. So when I spotted these, I knew I had to take a chance and order them. I had some confidence in the brand as I have worn a different style of Munro shoes for several years. Therefore I ordered online. eventhough I usually must try on shoes before purchasing, I was amazed at how well they fit. They are extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. Now I am considering ordering this style in different colors. A great find!
Shoes are stylish - the first time I wore them, I had them on for 5 hours and they felt fine. I have arthritis in my toes/feet, so comfort is very important. I am so grateful to have found you, as I know Munro American shoes 10-1/2 SS always fit.
blk leather/suede I wear mostly your brand. Not until I talked to Deanna did I realize you had WW.
I wish you had the shoe in the stores sooner. I was hoping to have them by Xmas. Nordstrom let
me down and when I called to see if they had been shipped they messed up. I usually don't buy
anything online but since I tried the grey one at the store I knew these would fit. The lady I
talked to at Munro was extremely helpful and kind and took care of everything from her end.
It would be helpful if in the catalog you noted the prior style this was replacing.
re:blk suede/patent one. Since the patent doesn't give, if it is stretched just a hair before sewing
it up. It was just a tiny bit sung but I know how to stretch it.
This shoe is comfortable to ware, out of the box. The look nice with slacks, and are great for all day at the office. The insole if very shock-absorbing, and eases the pressure on knee joints. I like the overall look and style.
I have problem feet (bunions, neuromas) and it’s terribly difficult to find stylish and comfortable shoes.
This shoe is both. I got it in black nubuck (my go-to) and it will go great with most of my casual wardrobe.
It’s a little tight on me, but that’s not likely the shoe’s fault. I’m a very hard fit.
And for what it’s worth, the shoe is cuter on than in the pictures.
I have always loved my Munro shoes for my long (11) narrow feet. Now I have more bulky orthotics because of chronic, awful plantar fasciitis. I wasn't sure they would work in this shoe, but they're perfect! I have a high instep and have to really push to get my foot into the shoe (need a new shoehorn) but once I'm in, I'm very comfortable and the elastic is placed just right to stretch without pinching my skin. They feel great on and I get compliments all day long.
I am so happy that Munro brought back a knee high boot and did it so well! It is sleek and elegant, very comfortable, and looks great with skirts and dresses. The heel is perfect; it is just high enough to look graceful, but is chunky enough so you feel steady walking. I love this boot and hope that next season we have even more knee high options from Munro. Booties are fine with pants and leggings, but I prefer a longer boot for my skirts and dresses.
I love Robyn! The boots are extremely comfortable, the leather is soft and the heel is perfect for walking/shopping or an evening out. Robyn is my second pair of Munro boots. And both pairs were perfect out of the box. They are true to size and I am so happy I discovered Munro.
These are for the winter to come. They are pretty, stylish, and so very comfortable. I will be able to walk as far as I want in complete comfort. They will look fine with either skinny black pants or dresses with tights. They tuck in at the top of the heel which gives a more fitted look. I have the black suede. I wear a 42. I bought the 11.5 wide and I will be able to wear thin wool socks in these.
It's hard to find brown boots this year but Munro came through. These fit like all my other Munros that I've bought over the past 20? years. I only wish they could find a design that could keep the comfort and fit, but be a little more stylish.
I can always count on a great fit with Munro shoes and the Jolynn is no exception. Wore them to an event right out of the box and no blisters or prior breaking in was needed. They fit me like a glove. The style is super cute. I wear an 11SS which is impossible to find in stores. I am thankful that Munro makes my size. Pricing is high but quality is superb and having a shoe that fits properly is worth every penny.
Really comfortable boots! Usually I have trouble finding a boot that fits because I am a 4A width. These fit like a glove in my normal length and N width! Would gladly give 5 stars if they were waterproof!
This is my third pair of Riley boots, and I am counting on them to last forever. Munro boots fit like no other, though that may take some experimentation with combinations of different widths and lengths. Leather is top quality, lining is smooth, sole has a little give. Good with jeans through dressier pants. Good traction in bad weather. Just enough heel height, and the heel shape makes them look a little shorter than they are. Now if Munro would just make them in, say, navy or forest green or gray or light tan . . .
This is my perfect dressy boot. I choose the black suede that goes with all, …dress, skirt, and slacks. It’s as light as a feather, yet as sturdy as a walking shoe. It’s comfort and beauty the first time you tie into them.
One note about sizing for the Sloane: My size is consistently an 11 Narrow in Munro shoes, boots and sandals but I had to exchange the Narrow for Medium with the Sloane.
I rarely write reviews, but I'm so happy with these boots. I have wide feet and a narrow heel. These boots fit short, so instead of a 9.5W I ordered a 10W and they are SO comfortable. The laces allow me to secure them (Munros typically have a deeper heel than I need, these are no exception) and the zip makes them easy to take on/off. The footbed is removable and I am using Superfeet insoles as usual. They look great with jeans, I wear them all day and LOVE them. They are light weight and I was suspicious at first, but now I think this is because of the sole material. It looks smooth and like it would slip on snow/ice but it turns out to be grippier than expected. Fine on snow/ice. Thanks, Munro!! I got both colors.
This shoe is the most comfortable I have ever worn! In addition, it is attractive and comfortable. Fit is true to size. It is flexible and does not bind or pinch anywhere. Although it has a somewhat sporty style with the rubber-like sole (which gives very good traction), the design hides the sporty look of the sole. Therefore, the show can be worn for either casual or dressy occasions. I wish it were available in more colors! [comment: Thank you for the review. We'll be sure to pass your color request along to our design team.]
I typically wear 7.5W. With the Henlee, I bought a pair n Nordstrom in my size and it fit. So I ordered several more pairs. Same size. they did not fit. Had to return. I tried 8W and 7.5WW. nothing fit right. So how can one pair fit and others of the same style and size not fit. Frustrated. [reply: With hand handcrafted shoes, as our's are, there can be slight variations between production lots. Variations can also happen between materials. Without having specific details about your situation, I might recommend you try the 7WW in lieu of the 7.5W. If you would like to discuss your specific situation further, please call customer service and reference this review.]
After a lifetime of poor shoe choices I now have bunions, bone spurs, plantar's fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. All packed in to a size 12 wide. The only shoe I've been able to wear, because of my orthotics, was sneakers.
However now that I've found Munro, and particularly The Traveler style shoe, I am able to portray the professional image I need for work while feeling comfortable and pain free in my shoes.
You have changed my life.
I bought a pair in black at a shoe store and wore them a few times and decided to get a pair in gray, as well. The shoes look great with dresses and are wonderfully comfortable, especially since I have an unhappy bunion, at times, on my right foot. I'll most likely get a pair in navy, as well, but haven't done that yet.
I love this shoe! I have many orthopedic problems this shoe offered a nice tight support with stable heel support and a good arch support. Munro has decided to discontinue this shoe. I don't understand why they stop producing good shoes. So many shoes like this one put a stabilizing bar in it, which I hate. Having a durable yet flexible shoe is nice. I hope Munro brings back this shoe. [Comment: We're terribly sorry to disappoint you. The popularity of the Sydney had fallen off recently which made it a candidate to discontinue. We will pass along your comments to our design and development team managers for review. In the meantime, please consider the Berkley. It is made on the same last and has the same wonderful comfort and fit as the Sydney.]
These are so comfortable I purchased them in several colors. The red is very striking with any outfit. Attending the trunk show at Nordstrom's helped so much for getting a great fit and also the color selection.
I put these shoes on and loved the look and comfort of the foot bed. Bought them for a trip and unfortunately they wore a blister on the back of the foot above the heel. The height of the shoe above the heel was just too high. I wear a SS usually-sometimes a narrow.
If you want to purchase these walk around in them in the store for several minutes to make sure the back does not rub.
I now have this shoe in every color. Had to wait to order my size (13m) - guess they don't make too many in my size. Since Munro 's sizing changed, I've had to order a size larger because they don't make half sizes that large. Oh well, just used better orthotics and now they're even more comfortable. Very on trend with athleisure wear being so popular.
Love these shoes! They're comfortable, as comfy as sneakers but quite a bit dressier. Work perfectly with my orthotics. They run a little longer than other Munro shoes, which is fine for me, and a bit narrower. There's some variation on width in Munro shoes, I've found, and so I ordered these in two widths, and will return the narrower.
This is the latest version of this shoe. the other two pairs I wore until they were shredded and I was so happy the Joliet is the newest version. This is a very comfortable walking shoe which i use for travel, volunteering at a hospital and running through grocery stores. My life requires I move quickly and easily almost everywhere. It looked good with slacks and has a casual, dressy feel and is easy to put on with the velcro strap. It is more feminine and less bulky than tennis shoes. This show really works for me !!!
The wide width (size 6) is just what I love about Cookie sandals because having bunions on both feet walking can be painful, but the sandals provide an all day comfort and relief; the style is also classic, this is my fourth Cookie, the third ordered directly from Munro because the department store I bought my first Cookie from no longer carry the brand.
I don't do social media, so, I only advertised by word of mouth and showing shoes to friends and relatives when wearing my Cookie sandals which are Coral, Ash Grey Snake, Black, Golden Metallic (bought from department store).
I'm traveling to the Indian Ocean and just bought this model Jillie in Pewter to replace my Abby sandals. As nice as the Abby is, it did not give me enough cushioning for all day walking. I also have Kaya model which has great cushioning, but are a sporty style. The Jillie model is SUPER AMAZING!!! They have more a tad more cushioning than the Abby, but that tad extra's all that was needed to not feel my steps while pounding the pavement.. You can literally walk all day in Jillie model. I put it to the test yesterday. Abby is also a more trendy sandal than Kaya. I usually pack both the Kaya and Abby (One for walking all day and one for style) I'll now only need to pack my new Jillie sandals and do not need to carry two pair of sandals. Of important note too is I'm a true SS (quad). My foot swims in a narrow. This sandal fits wonderful in SS (quad) - (9.5), very true to size. If you are traveling to a hot climate like me and desire to pack one pair of sandals for all day comfort walking and one for chic style then Jillie should be your choice. I'm ordering the black ones now for when I return from Asia.
These sandals are so comfortable that I have them in three colors. My only complaint is that the black is out of stock in my size. Unfortunately, I my black ones are starting to look a bit shabbly, and I'd love to have a second pair!
I have a very narrow foot and the 4A width of this sandal is perfect. No need to size up or down in length. The leather, cushioned footbed is very comfortable. The style of the shoe, lower heal height, and "toned" brown leather upper are spot on for my taste. The interior leather (of the decorative top of the shoe) is initially a little scratchy initially--may take a bit of breaking in.
The sandals are very comfortable and flattering to the foot. I purchased the bone. The two tone colors are placed just at the right part of the sandal where it really makes your foot look very nice in the sandal. I love Munro shoes and have been wearing them for years. I am very happy with the quality and the fit.
I love this shoe. It fits perfectly and the elastic keeps my foot snugly in place. I have another similar pair of Munro bought from another store and they fit and feel identical to that pair. I wish I remembered that style name.
The only thing is that the foot bed lining in this shoe, and in several other Munro shoes I have,
tends to make my foot sweat. I have never had this problem before. It causes a suction sound as I walk. I solved by buying a foot bed liner but I shouldn't need to do that. I think this type of liner needs to be reevaluated.
These are the second style of sandals that I have bought from Munro. The first pair were wonderful so I decided to try another style. All I can say is amazing! I have problems with fallen arches and arthritis in my foot. This limits the kind of shoes I can wear. We travel a lot, so I have been wearing tennis shoes with my cute outfits because those were the only comfortable shoes I could wear all day sightseeing/walking. Now that I have found Munro, I can wear these cute sandals all day and my feet do not hurt. The bonus is that they are stylish and compliment my outfits.
Got a pair of these several years ago and have worn them so much that they're pretty dirty -- tramped all over Vietnam and Cambodia in them recently. They are VERY well made, VERY comfortable, and have GREAT arch support. Love 'em so much that I bought a "spare" pair for when the first pair become truly unwearable. Thanks Munro!
