Why you sometimes cannot find a shoe on our website.

Have you ever wondered why you cannot find a specific new shoe on our website, www.munroshoes.com; but saw it in a store?

Until very recently, when we opened our own website in May of 2013, we exclusively sold Munro shoes to traditional brick and mortar retailers with whom we have a strong connection and partnership. It is because of our commitment to our retail partners and our belief in measuring the foot for proper fit that most of our shoes are in the retail stores 30-60 days before being available on our website, www.munroshoes.com

Some people prefer to purchase their new shoes directly from the manufacturer and that is one of the reasons we launched our own website. More importantly, however, selling directly to consumers allows us to continue to offer styles that our retailers don’t have space to carry anymore but may still be important to our customers. In the case of discontinued styles, there are times when another website or retailer will purchase the entire inventory we have left and therefore we won’t have it.

Our customer service representatives are excellent and will do their best to help you find what you’re looking for. They are available Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST: 1-800-819-1901. If you want to see upcoming styles, a link to the electronic version of our printed catalog is in the footer of the website. Just click on “please view our printed catalog” and the catalog will open on your screen. Our printed catalog is updated on our web-site each spring (about March) and fall (about August).
